Jim Greenwood, co-owner of Greenwood Consulting Group Inc., is a well-known expert in SBIR and STTR. He has taught workshops in 48 states, plus Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C., and has provided training through various organizations, including the University of Wyoming, Manufacturing Works, and SBDCs. In this webinar, Greenwood will provide helpful tips and a recommended process for developing a competitive Phase I proposal, with a focus on the Department of Defense.

During the webinar, Greenwood will also discuss how to effectively prepare for Phase I proposal submissions to the Department of Defense. Sage Kor, account and project manager at Manufacturing Works, will share how local Manufacturing Extension Partnerships (MEPs) can help small businesses with product design and development, supplier scouting, and other aspects of the business life cycle.

Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs are designed to support small businesses in developing innovative technologies and products.
